PENDEKATAN MATEMATIKA REALISTIK PADA PEMBELAJARAN PECAHAN DI SMP

As we know, that
realistic mathematics emphasizes to construct the context of concrete thing as
first point (impression) for the student to get the concept of mathematics. The
concrete thing is manipulated by the student to support the students’ effort in
change the concrete thing to abstract one. The student need to given a chance so
they can construct and product mathematics by their own language.
The standard competence
in junior high school that related with fraction learning has the aim to make
the student understand about operation properties and how to use it to solve
the problem.
The development of
realistic problem that related with the fraction form such as the fraction and
its form, simple fraction, change the fraction that numerator bigger than
denumerator become “campuran” fraction, compare the fraction, order the
fraction, etc.
Reflect from that
activity so in the learning fraction by learning mathematics realistic we can
conclude that:

Student have to given a chance to
reflect alternate concept about the idea of fraction that influence next learning

Student have to given a chance to get
the new knowledge about fraction
·
Student have to given a chance to
understand, done and implement fraction
·
Teacher must act as facilitator
·
Teacher able to develop learning process
interactively
·
Teacher give a chance to the student be an active
learner
